Shares, Subscriptions & Membership Exit

Members can manage their share portfolio, request additional shares, submit proposals, and request membership exit (Kündigung).

1. Share Overview (My Shares Portfolio)​

Under My Shares, members view complete transparent ledgers of their co-ownership:

  • Active Subscribed Shares: Total quantity of held shares.
  • Nominal Share Value (€): Fixed value per share established in statutes.
  • Historical Ledger: Date-stamped log of share acquisitions, subscriptions, and certificate numbers.

2. Share Subscriptions & Share Additions​

Members can request additional shares to increase their investment. First navigate to the Explore tab then click on the Cooporative which you want to buy shares from. Then click on the Purchase Shares button, then follow the steps below:

  1. Select quantity of shares to acquire.
  2. Select Payment Method:
    • Credit Card / Digital Wallet (Processed via Stripe)
    • Bank Transfer (SEPA) (View cooperative IBAN and reference code)
  3. Submit purchase request for Coop-Admin confirmation.

3. Membership Exit (Kündigung)​

To exit membership or redeem shares pursuant to German cooperative law:

  1. Navigate to My Shares > Membership Exit (Kündigung).
  2. Review statutory exit notice periods (Kündigungsfrist) defined by the cooperative statutes (e.g. notice submitted by June 30 takes effect at the end of the financial year).
  3. Full Membership Resignation: Cancel all shares and exit cooperative.
  4. Digitally sign and submit the exit application.
  5. Track payout timeline for share capital reimbursement.
