Compliance Engine & GenG Settings
CoopPilot embeds the statutory requirements of the German Cooperative Act (Genossenschaftsgesetz - GenG) directly into administrative workflows.
1. Compliance Engine
The automated compliance engine continuously evaluates cooperative compliance against statutory standards:
- Minimum Members Rule: Enforces the legal mandate of at least 3 founding members prior to registration (§11 GenG).
- Board Suitability Check: Verifies age requirements (18+) and mandatory share ownership for board officers.
- Statute Verification Wizard: Analyzes uploaded statutes for mandatory legal clauses including voting rules, exit notice periods (Kündigungsfrist), and dissolution provisions.

2. GenG Settings & Statutory Parameters
Under Settings > GenG Parameters, Coop-Admins configure statutory business rules:
- Nominal Share Value (€): Set fixed nominal value per share (e.g. €100.00 or €500.00).
- Maximum Shares per Member: Define optional statutory limits on individual shareholdings.
- Notice Period for Exit (Kündigungsfrist): Set legal exit notice windows (e.g. 6 months to end of financial year).
- Voting Power Rules: Configure default 1-Member-1-Vote (Kopfstimmrecht) or statutory multi-vote allocations.

3. Proposals Management
Members and board officers can submit formal cooperative proposals:
- Receiving Member Proposals: View incoming project, budget, or statute amendment proposals submitted by members.
- Proposal Review: Board officers evaluate feasibility and attach financial impact summaries.
- Escalation to Assembly: Convert approved proposals directly into official General Assembly agenda items.

4. Notice Board
The internal Notice Board allows Coop-Admins to broadcast official announcements:
- Post statutory assembly notices, quarterly financial updates, or board decisions.
- Select target audience: All Members, Board Only, or Specific Committees.
- Track view counts and member engagement metrics.
